Keeping a helmet smelling fresh is a real challenge, especially for people residing in hot, humid and tropical countries such as India. Buy helmets with removable inner lining & padding The best way to prevent the helmet from stinking is to wash the inner lining and padding as frequently as possible. For people residing in tropics, the ideal time to wash the lining and padding is every 2-3 weeks in the summers and once every two months after autumn.
